Promat is a Canadian company founded in 1991, and it supplies its cow mattress solutions to over 46 countries through an international network of distributors and dealers. It is estimated that more than 3 million dairy cows worldwide are currently resting comfortably on Promat products.

Promat also uses its expertise and knowledge in cow comfort and ergonomics to assist in the development of dairy farms, ensuring that their cows receive the highest level of comfort possible. As an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), Promat is proud to be one of the largest buyers of recycled Canadian automobile tire rubber. This rubber is processed into rubber granules, which serve as the base for the pasture mats and sand mats.
