We agree — sand is an excellent bedding material, but it does come with some disadvantages. Promat’s sand mattress makes everything simpler and better. By using our mattresses in combination with 5 to 10 cm of sand or another bedding material, you gain the following benefits:

Top Cover

Sand is placed on top of this special cover. The top cover is breathable, resulting in a fresh and dry bedding surface. It is made from a highly durable material that resists damage and withstands impact.

Rubber-Filled Mattress

The foundation of the sand mattresses is ensured by this mattress filled with rubber granulate. It is shock-absorbing while also providing a firm, stable base for support.

The poly pillow

We recommend using the pillow in combination with the sand mattresses. The pillow ensures that cows lie down in the correct position and helps keep the barn cleaner. Since the pillow is a single, solid piece, it is also highly hygienic.
